Thank you for considering a donation to the Avon Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk in Michigan. My name is Willa Danowski, Participant # 2446 and I am walking for all those touched by Breast Cancer ~~ past, present, and future.

My mother was diagnosed with Breast Cancer on November 28, 2001. On December 17, 2001 she had a Modified Radical Mastectomy of the left breast and has been undergoing treatments to stop the spread since. Someone in my hometown ~~ a 38 yr old woman ~~ is currently going through Chemo. She lost both breasts and will find out soon if she is in Stage 3 or Stage 4. Someone you know will be diagnosed. Someone else I know will be diagnosed.

I will be walking 60 miles, from Ann Arbor to Detroit, at the end of May. This is my first experience with fundraising and naturally I am nervous. Please help me to reach my goal. I need to raise $1900.00. It doesn't sound like much ~~ but it is difficult. Please help.
